Cases & Parties
Akten (cases) are the center of your practice in Law. Parteien (parties) are the people and organizations linked to those matters.
Akten list
Open Akten (/akten) to see all matters you can access. Views typically include:
- List — sortable table with file number, title, status, responsible lawyer
- Insight — KPI-style overview
- Panel — split list + preview
Use search and filters for practice area, status, responsible team, or custom fields.
Create a new Akte
Click New Akte
From /akten, start Neue Akte or use intake from Mandatseingang.
Enter core data
Provide title, file number (Aktenzeichen), practice area, and responsible staff.
Add Beteiligte
Link Parteien with roles (client, opponent, court, etc.).
Confirm folder structure
Accept or adjust the document folder template for this matter type.
Mandatseingang (leads)
Mandatseingang (/leads) is the intake funnel before a matter becomes a full Akte:
- New inquiries appear as leads
- Move leads through funnel stages (contacted, qualified, dismissed)
- Convert a qualified lead into an Akte with one action
Use this for conflict checks and initial screening before opening a file.
Parteien
Parteien (/parteien) is the firm-wide contact registry:
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Person | Clients, witnesses, opposing counsel |
| Organization | Companies, insurers, authorities |
| Court | Courts and judicial bodies |
Each party can have addresses, contacts, bank details, identifiers, and relationships to other parties.
Run a conflict check when onboarding new clients — available from party or intake workflows before you open an Akte.
Datenraum
Datenraum (/vault) is a secure document vault separate from case folders — useful for sensitive bundles or client uploads. See Documents & Datenraum.
