Can we migrate our case data from RA-MICRO?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We import master data (clients, matters, parties), historical correspondence, deadlines and open items via standard exports. Typical timeline: 6–10 weeks for mid-sized firms, with old and new systems running in parallel during cutover — no risk to live matters.

Will we lose DATEV integration?

Accepted Answer

No. Optimaite Law supports OBL/CSV export for DATEV. RA-MICRO's DATEV integration is deeper — if you're heavily DATEV-bound, validate the specific requirements with our team before migrating.

Question 3

Is AI in Optimaite Law really different from the JURA AI Assistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from a product-experience perspective. In Optimaite, AI is part of case, beA, accounting and controlling workflows — not just an extra chat. Both approaches have merit; which fits depends on your way of working.

Question 4

We have a bar-association rebate with RA-MICRO. Can you match it?

Accepted Answer

We don't offer bar-association rebates because our pricing already starts lower without per-seat licensing. For larger partnerships and multi-year contracts, we offer custom terms — talk to our sales team.

What if our RA-MICRO license still runs?

Accepted Answer

Common pattern: a parallel phase of 1–3 months during migration. We only start the Optimaite Law contract once the migration is complete and your team is productive on it — not from contract signature.

Question 6

Is Optimaite Law BRAO-compliant for cloud operation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We contractually commit to attorney-client confidentiality under §43e BRAO and §203 StGB. A separate confidentiality declaration is available on request. Subprocessors (cloud hosting, AI providers) are bound through the same chain. Alternatively: full on-premise — no BRAO question remains open.

Does Optimaite Law match RA-MICRO module-for-module in feature depth?

Accepted Answer

Mostly yes. RA-MICRO is more mature in some specialised modules (deepest DATEV integration, very granular liability-insurance workflows). We recommend a 60-minute walkthrough with your specific workflows — we'll honestly tell you whether there's a fit.
