Case Detail Workspace
Opening an Akte from /akten launches the case detail workspace — a dedicated environment for everything related to one matter.
Case tabs

Exact labels may vary slightly by configuration; the structure follows the case tab registry in the app.
Common actions from a case
Record time
From Finance or quick actions, log billable time linked to this Akte.
Add a Frist
Open the calendar tab or use the Frist wizard to create a legal deadline with verification rules.
Draft correspondence
Start a letter or email from Communications; it flows to Postmappe for review.
Generate from template
Use Aus Vorlage to create documents from firm templates with merge fields filled from case data.
Upload documents
Drag files into the document area or assign inbound Posteingang items to this Akte.
Case notes
Internal notes (rich text) can be attached to the Akte for team knowledge — pin important notes so they stay visible on the overview.
Ethical walls
Some Akten may be marked restricted (ethical wall). You only see them if your role and assignments permit access. If you expect access but cannot open a file, contact your Kanzleimanager.
Cross-app: Workspace
Documents opened for editing launch Optimaite Workspace with case context. Changes sync back to the Akte document list when saved.
Signing and complex editing happen in Workspace; Law keeps metadata, versions, and filing structure.
