AI Assistant in Law

Optimaite Law includes a built-in AI assistant available from any main screen. It understands case context when you work inside an Akte or select relevant documents.

Opening the assistant

  • Click the AI button (floating panel or sidebar, depending on layout)
  • The panel opens beside your work without leaving the current page
  • Conversation history is scoped per session; start a new chat for a fresh topic

When an Akte is open, the assistant receives case metadata and selected document context automatically.

Agent suggestions

Vorschläge on Mein Schreibtisch are proactive AI recommendations:

  • Filing suggestions for inbox items
  • Case updates based on new documents
  • Task or deadline proposals

You can accept, dismiss, or reject suggestions individually or in bundles. Accepted suggestions apply real changes (assignments, fields, tasks) — review before accepting.

AI output is a draft, not legal advice. Always review generated text before sending to clients or courts.

Credits and governance

Your firm may set AI compute limits per user or department. If actions are blocked, you will see a credit or policy message — contact your admin to increase caps or enable models.

Admins configure models and BYOM endpoints under Verwaltung → Compute / KI.
