Personal Settings (Einstellungen)

Einstellungen (/einstellungen) is your personal configuration area. It is separate from Verwaltung, which is for firm-wide admin setup.

Profile

Update:

  • Display name and contact details
  • Professional title and signature block fields used in correspondence
  • Avatar (upload and crop)

Changes here affect how you appear on outgoing mail and internal assignments.

Security

Change password

Use a strong unique password. Your firm may enforce rotation policies.

Enable 2FA

Turn on two-factor authentication (TOTP or firm-supported methods) for account protection.

Review active sessions

Sign out unused sessions if your firm exposes session management.

If you lose access to your 2FA device, contact your administrator — self-recovery depends on firm policy.

Notifications

Configure which events send:

  • In-app notifications
  • Email digests
  • Push notifications (if mobile devices are registered)

Per-channel toggles may include Frist reminders, Postmappe assignments, approval requests, and mention alerts.

Appearance

Choose theme (light/dark/system) and density preferences where available. Theme is per user and does not affect other team members.

Mailbox and calendar preferences

Some tenants expose:

  • Default send mailbox for outbound email
  • Calendar working hours and scheduling preferences
  • iCal feed tokens for subscribing in Outlook/Google

Options depend on what your administrator has enabled.
