Workspaces
Each workspace is an independent environment with its own:
- Documents, templates, and clauses
- Team members and roles
- Billing and subscription
- AI skills and playbooks
Users can belong to multiple workspaces and switch between them from the sidebar.
Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access + billing + can transfer ownership |
| Admin | Full access + team management + billing |
| Member | Create, edit, and share documents |
Invite Members
Open team settings
Go to Settings → Team to see current members.
Send an invitation
Click "Invite" and enter the email address. Choose a role (Admin or Member).
Recipient joins
The invitee receives an email with a link. If they don't have an Optimaite account, they'll create one during the accept flow.
Remove Members
Admins can suspend a member's access from Settings → Team. Suspended members lose access to all workspace documents but their account remains active for other workspaces.
The workspace owner cannot be removed. To change ownership, the current owner must transfer it to another Admin.
